Can someone point me to information on how to save the state of COM objects
in WebForm between round trips in ASP.NET? I've read much of the
documentation about Application and Session state and Caching but it all
seems to deal with saving data and the state of .NET controls between round
trips.
I want to know for instance how to prevent the COM object from being "Newed"
every time the user clicks a button and causes a post-back.
Thanks for any help.
