Marquee control in C# for Windows Program

I'm looking for a control that does a marquee type scrolling of text. I need
both scroll to the left (news crawl) and one that scrolls up that can have
both text and images in it.

Does anybody know of anything that will do this. I don't want to use HTML
because it's not very smooth.

What you want is usually called a Rotator or Ticker. The marquee tag in HTML
is IE only and not part of the HTML spec. You should be able to find a
javascript ticker or rotator at www.dynamicdrive.com or
javascript.internet.com. Several companies make commercial ASP.Net content
rotators such as http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-ajax/rotator.aspx
and http://www.componentart.com/webui/rotator.aspx

Those are great but they are made for web pages. I need the same thing for a
windows program. I have a window that I want to put a text scroll across the
bottom of.
