    Hi,

I'm developing a information site within a kiosk. I need to make it
speach enabled. However as it's I'm only producing a proof of concept
the speach software isn't particularly intelligent. Is there a way
that I can mute the master volume then unmute using either Javascript
or VBScript on the click of a button placed on the page.

There are no issues here about whether the user wants this or not as
its not based on the world wide web, just within a kiosk. If
Javascript or VBScript can't do this, are there other options?
