Matz' Ruby user group?

Hi matz--

I was wondering: What part of Japan do you live in? And do you belong
to a local Ruby user group? The reason I ask. my brother live in Japan,
and he's an English translator just getting back into I.T. I thought
maybe I'd see if there was a user group in his area, but that got me
wondering where you were and if you belonged to one.

As far as I know there seems to be no group that is dedicated to
regularly study only Ruby.
However, there are some study groups in Tokyo and Osaka, the first and
second largest cities in Japan, where Rubyists and others gather. It
would be hard to find Ruby groups in the other areas.


By the way, there is no group in Las Vegas? I have been staying here
for this week to attend Sybase Techwave 2005 (and San Francisco, next
Saturday)
