maximized window by default

i have a query in java swing
when i execute my application i want it to be displayed in maximized
window
i have tried setsize() it doesnt work or rather that is not what i m
looking for
any suggestion wil be appreciated

my suggestion: read java documentation more frequently

so now, look into the docs at the setExtendedState method
