Membership.GetUser() vs HttpContext.Current.User

I wonder what's the best technigue to get the handle to the current loggedin
user

Is it:
HttpContext.Current.User
Or is it
Membership.GetUser()

In my code I need to get the uniqueindentifier key of current user.

Any suggestions?
