memory leak

Discussion in 'Python' started by Daniel Wheeler, Dec 21, 2004.

  1. Can python leak memory even if the reference count for all the objects
    is not increasing?

    For example:

    for i in range(N):
    print ref_count_all_objects()
    do_something()

    and every iteration the ref count is constant but the memory usage is
    increasing. What are the likely
    problems?

    Thanks
