I understand that I can develop MIDlets using Forte for Java, Community
edition which is free. Has this been superseded by Sun ONE Studio community
edition? And is this also free?

Can anyone give me a LIVE link for either of these downloads. All the links
I can find on Google lead to dead Sun pages.

Does anyone know of any good MIDlet tutorials?

What you want is Sun ONE Mobile Edition if you want to write MIDP code.

U can use SunONE studio ME for developing ur MIDlets

I've tried it before and it works fine, but rather slow.
