midp application errors on nokia 6170 and 3230

hello,
i'm working on a quite big midp application. it works well on nokia
6600 (with v.4.09.1 os version). also works perfectly on nokia 6630
(btw. great phone). the problem is when i try to use my application on
6170 and 3230. on 6170 (os 3.04.36.0) it shows the alert that does not
have data for almost every display, but then reads it form RS and works
fine. sometimes it totaly closes application with an error
"jes-137-javax.microedition.lcdui1@1..." or
"jes-d1-microedition.lcdui1@1..."
the situation with 3230 is quite diferent. it works fine but i've
noticed one place where it closes the application with
"jes-a8-javax.microedition.lcdui1@1KERN-EXEC 3". I found explanation
for this error in internet but maybe someone had some experience with
this kind of problems.

Can you please rephrase this last bit. What do you mean by "does not
have data...but then reads it form(sic) RS"? Do you mean on that handset
it's possibly working with a null pointer (which would cause an
exception to be thrown)? What does this mean?

sometimes it totaly closes application with an error
"jes-137-javax.microedition.lcdui1@1..." or
"jes-d1-microedition.lcdui1@1..."

You're not providing enough information. The bits you did include are
object references (jes-137-javax-microedition.lcdui@1... is referring to
an LCDUI package object; can you give the rest of it, please?) and,
specifically, objects that caused some exception to get thrown.
