MIVA and table widths

I have a site using MIVA and I've assigned global headers and footers
for the site. The headers and footers constitute a table wrapping
around all the MIVA content. On all of my pages without MIVA code,
these headers and tables wrap around the content fine...but when the
MIVA content is in the middle row, it expands way past the table's
width.

Has anyone else had problems with MIVA and tables losing their
dimensions, and could you let me know how to fix it?
