Model and Persistence

    HI everybody i am
    new InThisGroup();
    Please any comments about this
    iam working with EntityManager and JTable in a swing application
    1. when create the ArrayList Model assign the Collection of the
    persistence DB
    Collection<someClass> someClass = Service.getSomeClass();
    is this a error?
    extra memory is used?
    2. In my swing app i can remove columns, but iam not sure if the model
    maintains the data, i need report in excel so ...
    report from Collection?, model?
    advice please
