ModRuby FileUploads thread safe?

Hi there,

when handling a mulitpart upload, modruby overrides the $stdin
variable with a stream to read the actual multipart data. Generally
one can use CGI::QueryExtension.read_multipart to parse this data.

It seems to me, this use of a global variable is thread-UNSAFE. I am
using Apache-2.0 + worker-mpm and modruby, ie a threaded environment.
Isnt this a problem?
