Monitoring Application Restarts

Asp.net object has Application restarts counter defined so
that I can monitor total no.of times applications have
been restarted during the life time of webserver.

But is there any way that I can trace how many times an
single application has been restarted?

What is webserver's lifetime? (last rebooting the
server???)
