I created this cool game. It was made entirely with JavaScript (and a
tiny bit of PHP)

Snippet from the explanation
<blockquote>
HE OBJECT OF BEEM
The object of the game is to get as many points as possible, in the
shortest amount of time. Points are accrued by causing 'lasers' to
come in contact with 'receptors'. A level may have 1 or more lasers,
which begin as white beems and originate from the gray blocks, and 1
or more receptors, which begin as white blocks.
At the bottom of the game area, you will see several tokens. These can
be selected, and then placed on the game area. The first four tokens
can reflect a laser to travel in another direction. The 5th token, the
diamond, is used to refract a laser into 3 colored beems, red, green,
and blue.
SCORING
For each receptor on the game board, a maximum of 1000 points is
possible. This is achieved when there is either a white beem in
contact with that receptor, or at least one beem of each of the 3
other colors. If only one color of beem is in contact with a given
receptor, 100 points is awarded, 300 for 2 different colors. 100
points is deducted for each beem that leaves the game board (hits the
edge). In addition to this, 5 points is added to your score for each
second left on the timer when you complete a level.
OTHER ITEMS
* If there are two beems striking a single diamond, 2 white beems
will result
* If one of the 2 beems is the result of the first beem striking
the diamond, an illegal move has been attempted. A barrier square will
be created on the location where the diamond was situated.
* The 'Grid' button in the lower-right corner of the game area can
be used to toggle the grid-lines on the display. This does not affect
scoring.
