Im studying to take some exams for MCAD and right now im reading some
about UI in a web application.
Its a bit confuseing about the names of diffrent controls. In my book
they talk about HTML Controls and Server Controls. On the net i find a
lot of info about "Html controls", "HTML server controls" and "Web
controls" ..
It says in the books that HTML controls cant maintain state without
useing "Page level scripts" so i guess they mean "Controls that doesnt
have the runat=server attribute" .. and they mean Web controls and HTML
Server controls with "Server controls" .. hmm .. but they also says that
Server controls always detect what kind of browser the client has and
customize the control depeniding on that .. hmm ..
Anyone know if im right?
The book im reading is MCAD/MCSD Self-Paced Training Kit: Developing Web
Applications with Microsoft® Visual Basic® .NET and Microsoft Visual C#®
.NET, Second Edition
