I have written a DTD for and extension of XHTML; It works fine, except
that it does not, in fact, support the extension.

*What* doesn't support it? If you expect web browsers to fetch your
DTD, you are likely to be disappointed.
As referenced in the page, the DTD is at
http://www.ubaccess.com/david/base-aaa-2.dtd

I just tried to parse it, but it now refers to base-aaa.dtd, which has an
error (the last comment is not correctly closed).
