I have a simulation that runs fine for awhile but then throws up with the following error:

RUNTIME: Fatal error: RUNTIME_0033 Negative waveform time expression.
KERNEL: Time: 244526 ns, Iteration: 0, Instance: /oxcslc_chip0/rd_inst/pll_2_inst/altpll_component/STRATIXIII_ALTPLL/M4, Process: line__10777.
KERNEL: stopped at delta: 0 at time 244526 ns.
VSIM: Error: Fatal error occurred during simulation.

I am using Aldec Riviera-PRO Simulator build 2008.02.2891. Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it? Thanks.

This error looks like an iteration loop could not be solved. What are you trying to do? If you provide more detail we may be able to help.
