.net 2.0: critical firefox bug with defaultbuttons

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by Eirik Eldorsen, Jun 6, 2006.

  1. When setting the defaultbutton to a linkbutton, firefox does nothing when I
    hit enter. If I change the linkbutton to a button, everything works as
    expected. Is this a known bug, and if yes, is there a workaround?

    Example code:
    <asp:panel ID="pnlTest" runat="server" DefaultButton="btnTest">
    <asp:TextBox ID="txtTest" runat="server"></asp:TextBox>
    <asp:LinkButton ID="btnTest" runat="server"
    OnClick="btnTest_Click">Test</asp:LinkButton>
    </asp:panel>
