.NET Framework Configuration and Group Policy?

Discussion in 'ASP .Net Security' started by Olav Tollefsen, May 4, 2005.

  1. Why isn't there a regular group policy module for the .NET Framework
Configuration. It seems very strange to have to generate .MSI files that
needs to be pushed to clients.

  2. Hello Olav,

    good question :)

IMHO - GPOs are all centered around registry settings. CLR Policy doesn't
work this way - so it doesn't fit into the GPO infrastructure....
