OT--best forum for client-side issues?

I have a very tough issue I'm looking for help on re: javascript/css. I see
that MS has groups with HDTML in the title, but there are quite a few of
them, and they don't seem to get updated very often. At least not compared
to this ASP group. Anyone know which one I am likely to get some help on?

..scripting.jscript
..scripting.vbscript - IE only
comp.language.javascript - you're not restricted to microsoft newsgroups

Keep in mind that you can always use groups.google.com.

But no, it doesn't provide FULL access to ALL groups, for those ALT inclined

I could, but those posts take hours to get replies, sometimes.

Once I get home, I'll post my question to comp.js, but was hoping for an
answer while still at work.

Yes, but you can always search immediately for similar existing posts. Works
for me 80% of the time, then I post, and possibly wait.

I seriously doubt anything like what I have is going to be searchable. Very
unique problem

Which begs the question, did you even try?

So you searched Google groups? You never really answered.

"once I get home, I'll check"

So you been at work for days, without going home, and without newsgroup
access??

no wonder...take a break!!

I did a search for hiding divs, but did it on the Macromedia and other
client-side groups to which I have access. I dont' have access to to the
full Usenet, so I hadn't been able to do a search on the comp.javascript
group yet; I'll do that tonight. But I don't think it will do any good. The
problem is not knowing what to do. I am seeking help with an extra pair of
eyes to see where I'm missing the place in the code where I need to make a
change.

Not if your company has URL filtering and considers Google Groups a chat
forum instead of a useful research tool. (Do I sound frustrated?)

It might help if you actually asked a specific question.

My specific question for this forum is does anyone know where I might find
an appropriate forum to help me with my question, which has to do with
client-side code. I don't dare actually ask that question here, as I'll hear
about it in ways I'd rather not.

I was able to get some help on the Usenet group, comp.lang.javascript, and
the particular piece of code which caused the problem was identified and
subsequently addressed. I not only fixed the problem, but leanred something
about javascript that I didn't know, and which I was able to use today to
solve yet another problem. Knoweledge is good.

Fair enough. Now care to share?

What is the purpose of your post? It's not relevant here. This is a
client-side issue.
