Hi,
Conventional advice has always been never to reply to spam messages or click
on the "unsubscribe" links because that just tells them the email address is
valid and will make the problem worse.
I recently, more and more spam messages are coming with unsubscribe links at
the bottom. Many seem to contain reasonable sounding company names and
postal address, and often state they are in accordance with this or that
regulations, but obviously I have no way of verifying this.
Do you ever try to unsubscribe? Do you always try to unsubscribe? Have you
noticed any difference?
Andy
