Page_Load or Page_Init

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by Patrick Kristiansen, Mar 5, 2004.

  1. Hi group!

The Init-event on Page objects are as far as I know not fired between
postbacks, so would there be any arguments against using OnInit to
initialize the page and load data from a data store? Would it be
preferred to use Page_Load and then check if Page.IsPostBack?

    Regards,
    Patrick
