Each item of the output of the who command is a string. How to take the
    first 11 chars out?
    for Cshell command interpreter?
    for CShell script?
    Thanx

Why are you asking this on a Perl group?

That's so trivial in perl that even a beginner can come up with
something that works on the first or second try. So, what have
    you tried so far?

No, this is a perl newsgroup.
