parsing commandline parameters to a win32ole instance of an application

S

simon.lont

Hi everybody,

I'm a newby to ruby and I'm trying to whrite a script that uses the
comobject of business objects. The normal executable accepts a couple
of commandline parameters.

Does anybody kwon if it's possible to parse the parameters when you
create an instance with a ruby script?

For example

busobj.exe -userid simon

but how do you do this in a script like this

require "RubyCOM"

BO = WIN32OLE.new('Businessobjects.Application')
BO.visible = true
etc...

Many thanks in advance

Cheers from a newby..
