passing int values to asp:dropdownlist using javascript at page l

    i want to populate dropdownlist through integer values(0...up to 29) by
    javascript at client side
    i m confuse ........my code is
    var newOptionElement = document.createElement("<option value='" + your
    Value+ "'>" + yourtext + "</option>");
    document.Form1.ddlShipperState.add(newOptionElement);

    but error is OBJECT EXPECTED ,,,
    can any true friend give me complete clean code
