passing interface through webservice

hi there ...
is there possibility to pass interaface object through webservice?

example

class myWebService : WebService {
public myWebService() {
}

[WebMethod]
public Customer GetCustomer() {
return new Customer();
}
}

class Customer : ICustomer {

}

public interface ICustomer {

}

i such a example i've got this answer:
Cannot serialize member myWebService.Objects.Customer of type ICustomer
because it is an interface.
