Paste from Excel into predefined regions in HTML

Humvee

I have a product list in an excel file that I want to use for my
e-commerce site. It includes model #, image filename, description,
keywords for the META section, my price etc.. I want to be able to
select the individual product row in excel, copy and then paste it
into something that will throw that data into predefined areas in the
HTML code.. keywords into the META section, price after my $ in the
page and so forth. Heck, even save the page based on the
model#.html.. Odd request I know, but I have decided against a
dynamic database driven site because of search engine attraction
difficulty and want to build product pages as quick as possible.

Unless anyone knows a way to manage static html pages for an
e-commerce site. (Change a price for model593 in a master product list
and have it update the model593.html page automatically)

Please post replies to the group. Thanks in advance!

There exist some PHP classes for using Excel .xls files as storage.
Check them out at www.phpclasses.org or get some others at hotscripts.com
