    I would like to remove the html tags from a string like this:
    "<b> some text, </b> <br /> some other text, <img src="a.jpg"
    alt="alt"/>, more text".
    What is the good way of doing that? Thanks.

    The way it says to in the Perl FAQ.

    You are expected to check the Perl FAQ *before* posting to
    the Perl newsgroup.
