I remember reading about how you can change the allowed users or not for any
given resource in a web app using a LOCATION key in the web.config.
I was wondering, is there any way to also have individual resources each
have their own authentication modes?
Heres the situation...
We have an app on our website, which users can sign up for, they get a user
id and the login procedure is handled by custom business logic. I would like
to be able to put an ADMIN directory in the app, which we can log into using
Windows Authentication AFTER we already have logged in to the app using some
test account.
This way we could log in, establish a session with all the same session
variables and such that any other user would have, and then log in to this
admin section using our network login, and access all sorts of admin pages,
which would then also have access to the usual session variables and such
from the app.
Thanks in advance,
