Hello.
First I have to admit that I am very new to the web developing, but
the company I'm working for wants me to use cgi scripts to make its
web-sites look better. Unfortunately this is not a big company and the
guy who used to develop the web site is not available at the moment.
I've been searching for 2 hours to find out what programs I need to
install so that the company's server could run cgi scripts. And so far
all I got is this:
"Download ActivePerl to run cgi scripts on Windows 2000. But make sure
that the server has Perl installed."
What is confusing me right now is the latter part. The company has its
own server but its OS is Windows 2000. So could I use cgi scripts just
by downloading ActivePerl or is there a different program that must be
installed on the server?
Any information regarding the matter would be appreciated. Thank you.
