PERL POSITIONS - FULL TIME & CONTRACT

Hi,

I have the following immediate requirement with a MAJOR Financial
client (DIRECT CLIENT) based at NYC.

PS: There are 3 requirements, the 1st position is into Development ,
2nd & 3rd Positions are purely Production Support.

POSITION: 1
Perl Developer:

At least 3- 5 years of strong background in backend (batch) systems
involving processing of complex data feeds
Completely hands-on on the technical skills mentioned below
Wall Street background is pretty much a requirement or will be
strongly preferred (familarity with different security types/asset
classes is a must)
Should be able to work independently without too much help & get
things done
Good communication skills
Technical Skills:

Strong background in Perl (basic, advanced & object oriented), shell
scripting, Sybase, stored procedures, Autosys batch processing (or
other batch processing/scheduling tools)
Familiarity with Java/C++ & OO programming

POSITION: 2

Developer / Production Support (CONSULTANT) -

Required Skills:
Worked in production environment ( understands that there will be
evening support as well)
Perl
Sybase / SQL
ksh scripting
Good communications
Problem solver
Plus, but not required:

C / C++
Web page programming ( i.e. JSP, Java Scripting, etc.)
Knowledge of BO systems
GEAC / SmartStream
Autosys
PAM (Princeton Financial Systems)
Summit

Project Lead / Developer / Production Support (FULL TIME)
Able to handle day to day tasks of supporting production
environment. Work with and be main point of contact with users. Needs
good communication
skills and not afraid of handling day to day production
environment.
Worked in production environment ( understands that there will be
evening support as well)
Has managed or worked whereby they were a lead to others
Able to handle day to day production issues
Perl
Sybase / SQL
ksh scripting
Good communications
Able to deliver
Problem Solver
Plus, but not required:
C / C++
Web page programming ( i.e. JSP, Java Scripting, etc.)
Knowledge of BO system
GEAC / SmartStream
Autosys
PAM (Princeton Financial Systems)
