perl traverse pdf whitepace any text with subsetted fonts

I need to go through a large volume of PDF files and whitespace out any

text with subsetted fonts since this text is being garbled by the
converters (to HTML) that I'm using. I'd prefer if the text could
survive the conversion, but since it can't I would prefer whitespace.

    Any ideas?
