Persist properties to aspx file on webcontrol creation

Discussion in 'ASP .Net Web Controls' started by Raymond Tellenbach via .NET 247, Aug 4, 2004.

  1. Is there any way to force properties to be persisted to the aspxfile on creation of a webcontrol? To show what i mean: I want toadd the attribute 'SomeAttribute="anyvalue"' between the tags ofthe webcontrol when i drag it from the toolbox to a page. TheHTML tag of the aspx file would look something like this:<aaa:MyControl id="MyControl1" runat="server"SomeAttribute="anyvalue"></aaa:MyControl>
