photoshop plugin from Python script

Hello.

I am working on a python app for image transfer and basic image
manipulation (automating the workflow with my digital cameras Nikon
D100 and Coolpix 5000).

I would like to use Adobe's free CameraRaw photo shop plugin to
convert .NEF files to .jpeg. Does anybody know if this is possible,
and how should i proceed to achieve this?
