platformRequest() problem in MIDlet

Hi ppl,
My platformRequest("<url>") opens up a browser window and displays
the url but there is a minor problem. If I'm passing some parameters as
a GET method in the url, such as
http://localhost:80/samples/MIDletReceiver?loc=9999&code=midlet, it
doesn't take those values after the '&'.
The emulator output console says the following:
Performing platformRequest for URL:
http://localhost:80/samples/MIDletReceiver?loc=9999&code=midlet
'code' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

How can I solve this? please reply soon
