Seriously, we all suffer from the same frustrations as you appear to
have here from time to time, but you would do well to remember a few things:

1. Google has a very long memory. You may cringe when you see this
thread in five years.

2. There *are* accepted standards of behavior in most newsgroups, and
because they are usually community-defined it's as well to take a lead
form the natives, and to lurk for a while then start gently.

3. It's usually best to avoid thinking that you are being deliberately
ignored in these circumstances, even though the urgency of a specific
situation can induce paranoia.

Anyway, welcome to c.l.py. After this baptism by fire I am sure it will
all be plain sailing from here on

Well,

If people are intentionally ignoring you.. can't do much about it.
Yelling just makes them laugh and ignore you more. It is a public
forum. People are not obligated to answer your question.

Most people if they don't know an answer to your question.. will just
not answer. Could you imagine if everyone who subscribes to this list
answer with a "no"?

If no one answers your question. Most on to other ways of finding out
the answer such as IRC channels, forums, and also as Steve suggested
google. You should obtain your answer to questions some how.
