Does anyone have a working example of a servlet that can handle
preparedStatements with thread safety? I am referring to applets that access

If your servlet has one prepared statement and your concern is that the
client side will make simultaneous calls, inplement SingleThreadModel
which will force the engine to spawn a new servlet instance for each
concurrent service request.

If you have muiltiple prepared statements, post your code.
