I have a registration site with multiple pages with submit buttons.
Everytime the user clicks submit it inserts a record from the information
typed on that page into a database and goes to the next step of the
registration. I'm thinking users are clicking forward and back in the
browser and clicking these submit buttons multiple times and it's messing up
my flow. This record that is inserted is a temp record. At the end of the
registration process they have a Confirm screen with the data that was
previously typed in and saved into a 'temp' table. and then another submit
button to insert these records into the real table. I need a better way to
do this. Would using all session variables work for this situation or is
there a better way?
Thanks for any information or direction to head with this issue.
