    Hi,
I'm looking for a way to get the process ID of the Perl script I'm running,
I found getppid() but no getpid() (or anything that seems to do the same
    thing).
Is there a getpid() routine in Perl? Is there something else I can do to get
    it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Sigal
