ProcessModelInfo question

The following works find inside a Page_Load event in an aspx.vb module:
Dim objInfo As ProcessInfo = ProcessModelInfo.GetCurrentProcessInfo

But inside a class I get a diagnostic saying that ProcessInfo is private.

What's the difference? why?
