Purest genius: <abbr/> working in Internet Explorer

  1. Style <abbr/> as you like, the tooltips work, no having to worry about
    bogging down your code with extra <span/> tags. Just one catch: only works
    if Javascript is enabled.

    For an example, see my site in IE6 (not tested yet in 5.x, but should
    work) with Javascript enabled:

    All I did was add a conditional-comment hack to stop other browsers from
    downloading the redundant code.
