Query Exchange Server for ASP.NET web app

I was wondering if there was a way I could query an Exchange server for use in an ASP.NET web application? I don't want to create a SQL table to hold the same information that's already being stored in our Global Address Book on an Exchange server.

If this can be done please point me in the right directions.
