question about mouse buttons

hi
am trying to program a scheduler
actually i used the DrawGrid component and am trying to click on a cell
in it to color it
i used the onmouseclick event but the problem is that things work well
when i use the right click ( means i could color the cell i click on it
with the right button of the mouse ) but when i use the left button it
dosent resopnce the same
does the operating system handl both button in a different way?
