question about setting aspnet user rights

Hi - when I try to run my app, I'm geting this error immediately:
"The directory does not exist or is not accessible because of security
settings"

The app was running previously, but my machine crashed and I had to
reinstall XP, VS.NET, etc. Now it won't work.

I see that maybe I need to give the aspnet user access to the directory, and
the instructions say to go to Explorer, then the the properties dialog for
the directory and go to the "Security" tab, but that tab doesn't appear in
my properties dialog. I do have the directory set for web sharing, and a
virtual directory is set up in IIS. How can I check the rights for the
aspnet user?

Or, any other ideas why I would get this error? I have XP sp1 (before the
crash I did not have sp1), vs.net 2003, 1.1 framework...

Thanks, Sheryl

Never mind everyone... I found out how to disable "simple sharing" so that I
could customize the settings...
