Is there any full-conforming browser?

Nope, but in my experience, for the last few years the latest available
version of Opera tends to have generally been the closest.

Whenever I try to design a page I ALWAYS use DIV's:
<div id="canvas">
<div id="content">
<div id="content-int">
</div>
</div>
<div id="sub-content">
<div id="sub-content-int">
</div>
</div>
</div>

CANVAS is the container; "*-int" is to provide a margin between
sub/content DIV's
It works out pretty good, esp. with the
margin: 0 0 -200000px 0;
padding: 0 0 200000px 0;
overflow: hidden;
thing.

Hey, good on you for pointing that out. I didn't notice it on my fast
cable.
It is on a dedicated server with a 10 meg line and on my 2 meg line at home
it runs fine.[/QUOTE]

You saying it is not for people at large on the internet or it is
for an audience that you know have broadband?

Some will say yes, some will say no. I say YES! I have a site which I
think it works well. You can store all the data you want users to see all
the time, have a look http://www.pubtricks.com (there are some firefox
problems at the moment so don't flame me about that!). I have 2 side bars
that I
change on some pages and display random content via PHP. Lots of people
go 800 wide still. 90% of people now have 1024 so I would not worry about
the width. Keep important data on the left and stuff you can afford to
loose on the right.

I just looked at the site and while I agree with you in general about using
sidebars, I think there is a little room for improvement on your site. In
particular, without enlarging the font, there is very little on the screen
that I can read. The content might be great, but I'm not likely to stick
around long enough to find out.

Thank you for your input, I greatly appreciate it.
For those who decided to go off topic, it annoys alot of people who
wish to get the same answer.

Just a quick question... Is there anyway I can get Google Groups to
insert a signature for me?
If not, then all that I really have to do is have the "-- " then my
sig? Thanks! :D

You can't. You could keep a document open with your sig in it, and just
cut and paste it into your reply.

Also, you might these helpful:
