    Hi,

I want to use soapheader to pass user credential for authentication when I
call a web service. Is it ok for other non .NET application consume this web
    service? Let's say Java application.

    Thanks.

Yes. SOAP Headers are the standard mechanism for passing out of band
information like credentials, login tokens, session ids, etc.
