Question on asynchronous or handshake circuits

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to build a circuit that is completely asynchronous (or
with handshakes) without using any clock in the circuit. If yes, then
is it a better choice than the clocked circuit with clock gating
inckuded.

Thank you for your support.

[smells like homework]

Go look up "synchronized transistions" and delay-insensitive circuits
on the web. You might also want to read Sutherland's Turing-award
paper.

Depends on what you want to achieve.
