Questions about C++ tools on Linux, and Solaris, Eclipse-CDT

    1) Debugger.
    Is gdb (or ddd) still the best tool to debug C++ prog
    a) on Linux?
    b) On Solaris?

    2) IDE, can you debug C++ programms, using Eclipse-cdt on both Linux and
    Solaris?

    Other tools?
