radiobutton html control

Hi all,

I have a pair of radiobuttons as html controls, and would like
to populate another html control (a text field) when one of
the radiobuttons gets checked. When I catch the event, (i.e. in the
serverchange), the field does not get populated even though I
do not have any conditions. (i.e. just gave controlname.value="something")

Can anyone shed some light on this?
