    Because that's the kind of site people make their first time.
    Lose the gawdy background image for starters.
    Then trim down the huge images and descriptions.
    So far, everything you show, has been posted to thousands of websites.

    First, go here:
    http://validator.w3.org/
    Then fix the errors shown.

    Secondly, learn not to use tables for primary display.

    Something simpler like <ul> would suffice.

    <ul>
    <li><img>description</li>
    <li><img>description</li>
    <li><img>description</li>
    </ul>

    Learning CSS will show you how to put those lists on one row rather than
    three.

    <div> would work just as easily.

    If you really want to get serious about this, get yourself a rather good
    editor which does color highlighting.

    I use Rapid PHP 2010 and it shows me instantly if I don't have matched
    pairs of tags like its supposed to be.
